• Payment Information: We do not store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or net banking credentials. All payment data is handled securely by Razorpay and is subject to their privacy policy.
• Transaction Records: Purchase date, amount, and the specific product purchased (gift card pack, source code product, or video course), Razorpay payment ID, and order status.
• Digital Product Access Records: For source code and video course purchases, we record which products you own so your download link or course access can be restored anytime from your account, without needing a new purchase.
• Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited — collected automatically to maintain site security and improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

• To process your gift card, source code, or video course purchase and deliver the credit or access to your account.
• To keep a permanent record of digital products you own, so download links and course access can be restored if lost.
• To send purchase confirmation and transaction receipts.
• To respond to support queries related to your purchase.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised transactions.
• To comply with applicable Indian laws and Razorpay's merchant compliance requirements.
• To improve our platform's performance and user experience.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your consent.

4. Payment Processing — Razorpay

All payment transactions on the DigitalVerse Gift Card Store are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. When you make a payment:

• You are redirected to or presented with Razorpay's secure payment interface.
• Razorpay collects and processes your payment credentials directly.
• DigitalVerse receives only a payment confirmation and a Razorpay Payment ID — never your full card or bank details.

5. Data Sharing

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Razorpay: For payment processing and fraud prevention.
• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication and database services. Your account data is stored on Firebase's infrastructure under Google's security standards.
• Legal Obligations: If required by Indian law, court order, or a government authority, we may disclose your information as legally required.
• Business Transfers: If DigitalVerse is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not share your data with advertisers, marketing partners, or any other third parties beyond the above.

6. Data Retention

We retain your transaction records for a minimum of 3 years from the date of purchase, as required for accounting and compliance purposes under Indian law. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active or as required by law.

If you wish to request deletion of your personal data, please email support@digitalverse.in. Note that transaction records required for legal compliance cannot be deleted before the statutory retention period expires.

7. Cookies & Tracking

The DigitalVerse Gift Card Store uses minimal cookies and browser storage:

• Session Storage: Used to temporarily store your authentication token for a seamless checkout experience. This data is cleared when you close your browser tab.
• No Third-Party Tracking Cookies: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar third-party advertising trackers on the gift card store.
